Jean England, 87, of Pekin, passed away at 5:27 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born May 20, 1932 in Texas County Missouri to Henry and Helen (Noirfalise) Elliott. Her parents preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Nadean Anderson.
She married the love of her life Thomas Henry England on May 27, 1950 in Arkansas. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons, Keith (Linda) England of Washington State, Roger (Rose) England of California and Kevin (Diane) England of Texas; three brothers, Harold (Kay) Elliott of Colorado, Jerry (Lynda) Elliott of Arizona and John (Sharon) Elliott of Colorado; two sisters, Vera Dixon and Carolyn Davis, both of Missouri; five grandchildren, Beth, Stacey, Michael, Erika and Alexandra; 8 greatgrandchildren, Marissa, Nick, Sam, Joe, Robby, Mckenzie, Kayden and Chelsea.
Jean was a homemaker and was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend to all.
She was a great seamstress and also enjoyed bingo, cards, bird watching, fishing and spending time with her friends and family.
Her graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Pastor John Plunkett will officiate.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
