Shirley Frances Dingus, 76, of 1102 Arlington Ave., died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005, at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol Tennessee.
She was born in Bristol Virginia, daughter of the late Dudley and Lillian Brown Noe. She was preceded in death by two sons, Mickey Clarence Cresong and Jackie Lynn Cresong.
She is survived by her husband, Roy F. Dingus; one daughter, Charlotte Ann "Sue" White of St. Paul, Va.; two half-sisters, Myrtle Sybert of Bristol Tennessee and Thelma Pullon of Bristol Tennessee; six grandchildren, Rebecca Ann Kiser, Samuel Samson Tignor, Joshua Franklin Cresong, Mickey Clarence Cresong, Debra Ann Cresong and Tony Leonard; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Shirley Frances Dingus will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, with Rev. Steve Dingus and Rev. Therman Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in Glovier Cemetery, St. Paul. Pallbearers will be Josh Cresong, Mickey Cresong, Michael Dancer, Moody Addington, Sammy Tignor and Joe Dingus.
