Mable Pauline " Stella" Laffoon, 85, on Sunday, February 17 , 2013 with her family by her side, left her earthly home earthly home to be with her Lord in heaven.
The daughter of Joel and Edith Price Reese, she was born March 27, 1927 in Frisbee, MO.
She was a cook for Poplar Bluff Jr. High School in Missouri for over 10 years. After moving to Russellville she took college courses at ATU. She was a member Bakers Creek Free Will Baptist Church. Stella loved singing and was the choir leader for several years. She was an avid Cardinals fan and she loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, James Riley Williams; 2nd husband, Bill Laffoon; son, Michael James Williams; step- son, Billy Laffoon and sister, Leatha Williams.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Humphrey Chapel. Reverends Jerry Burris and David Downum will officiate. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery in Gravel Hill, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Friday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Choices, 311 East 3rd, Russellville, AR 72801.
