James "Jim" L. Lewis Jr., 93, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, March 6, 2015.
Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at University Park United Methodist Church in Dallas. A reception will follow.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
Jim was born in Maynard on June 1, 1921. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II and was the recipient of the U.S. Army Distinguished Flying Cross.
He was a graduate of UT. He was President/CEO of his company, Industrial Air & Hydraulics, for over 40 years.
Survivors: He is survived by his loving family of three daughters, Sylvia Williams, Marilynn Van Cleave and Jamie Running; his three sons-in-law; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren with one on the way.
