Bill Aiken Teague Jr., 69, died peacefully on December 22, 2017 at York Hospital while being surrounded by his closest loved ones.
Originally from Ware Shoals, SC, Bill is survived by his sister, Nikki Graydon of SC. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beth Gordon; and his brother, Neil Teague, both from VA.
Bill leaves behind two beautiful daughters, Susan Laucks of Red Lion, and Christy Carr of York; as well as his previous wife, Gloria Lease of York. Bill has four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Upon graduation from Ware Shoals High School in SC, Bill entered the military and served bravely in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. After his service, he worked the majority of his life in the car business both in SC and in York.
Bill had several passions in his life. He loved being on the lake in SC and being at the ocean with his family. He enjoyed doing outside yard work and landscaping. He had a great love of animals. This was evident through his undeniable love and affection for his two dogs, Blondie and Dagwood. Bill cherished his two daughters and enjoyed being around all the family and his friends. He was always willing to lend a hand to his friends and attend any party that was being thrown!
In lieu of any funeral services, the family will be hosting a Celebration of Life for Bill. It will be held on January 27, 2018 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Stone Grille & Taphouse located at 204 St. Charles Way, York. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of Bill Teague.
