  Tupelo Daily Journal, S F Davis - NETTLETON - S F Davis, 81, of Nettleton, died Sunday afternoon at North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. He was a retired farmer and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Houlka. Services will be at 3 pm, today at the Lann Memorial Funeral Home chapel with the Rev John E Gray and the Rev Julian Fagan officiating. Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Survivors include his sife, Mrs. Mary Lucille Davis of Nettleton; a daughter, Mrs. Annette Smith of Nettleton; three sons, Leroy Davis of Plantersville, James Davis of Fayetteville NC, and Billy Davis of Nashville Tenn; two sisters, Mrs. earline Dowden of Okolona and Mrs. vivian Tomberlin of hollywood Fla; two brothers, Earl Davis and Ervin Davis, both of Phenix City Ala; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
