  Obituary: Charles Lauderdale PONTOTOC - Charles Mel Lauderdale, 90, died Thursday March 16 1995 at the Sunshine Rest Home in Pontotoc. He was a member of the Troy First Baptist Church and a farmer. Services will be at 2 pm Saturday at the Baldwin Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc with Bro Greg Herndon and Bro Bobby Caples officiating. Burial will be in the Troy Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Irene D Lauderdale of the Troy Community; four daughters Melna Hattox and Ruth West both of Jackson, Betty Altom of Verona and Joanne Estes of Mooreville; one sister Lorene Dallas of pontotoc; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Devan Dallas, Paul Dallas, Larry West, David West, David Estes and Steve Altom. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 pm today and Saturday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
