- Okolona Messenger Obituaries: Annie Finger- Annie Merle
Davidson Finger, age 82, died Tuesday, May 12, 1987, at Baptist
Hospital in Jackson after a lengthy illness. She was a
homemaker and had lived in Okolona until moving to Jackson 25
years ago. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Houlka.
She was born in Chickasaw County and was the daughter of the
late Clara Florence Hadley and Milas Lee Davidson. Services
were held Thursday, May 14, at Abrams Funeral Chapel with the
Rev David Greer officiating. Burial was in Oddfellows
Cemetery. Abrams Funeral Home was in charge of the
arrangements. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mildred
Curry of Jackson; three sisters, Lucille Davis of Nettleton,
Irene Lauderdale of Troy and Maelene Doris Carter of Okolona;
one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers
were Danny K Thomas, Ralph Thomas, Robert McCoy, Royce
Culpepper, Jr, Harold Turner and Leroy Davis.
