Clark and Angelina Smith married as per divorce papers, Isaac and her lived together something over 12 months 9-15-1856 "I Owe U" note to Isaac Clark dated and signed Emanuel Fox 1-23-1857 Statement to court by Emanuel Fox: Suit brought by Isaac Clark for the use of Willis McMahan which note is payable on the 25th Sep 1857 and dated 15th Sep 1856 and amount of one hundred dollars, is a forgery and not my genuine signature but agrees in amount with a genuine note that I gave to said Clark. 1-26-1857 Willis McMahan - statement of poverty regarding the expense of the trial 3-1857 Isaac Clark in jail (July 1858 papers) Isaac remained in prison for 8 months or more convicted in circuit court Sevier Co.
