- She was not married more than once. She had 3 given names.
1920 Census, Bedford County, 19th. Civil District. Sarah DAVIS, and sister, Fannie L., age 30, still at home. The next household was Sarah's married daughter, Priscilla [DAVIS] HUTCHISON. I can't prove the relationship with 100% certainty, but William and Sarah had a daughter, Pracella, age 8 (b. Abt. 1872), on the 1880 Census. She apparently married John M. HUTCHISON and was his wife, Priscilla, age 47 (b. Abt. 1873) on the 1920 Census. They may have shared the same residence, #143, with two households, #154 & #155.
Davis
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Davis, 88, who passed away Thursday night at 10:00 p.m. after a short illness, were held Friday afternoon at 2:30, at the Richmond Church, with Elders Hart and Sanders officiating.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Sherwood, Mrs. Darnell of Petersburg; Mrs. Hutchinson, of Shelbyville; and Mrs. Henderson, of Fayetteville; two sons, Oscar Davis, of Richmond and Willie Davis, of
Indiana. Burial at Richmond.
