IRA L. PEMBERTON JR., 34, IS ACCIDENTLY ELECTROCUTED
Masonic services for Ira L. Pemberton, Jr., 34, were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bram chapel. Burial was in Highland cemetery.
Mr. Pemberton was electrocuted in an accident Dec. 12 at Ely, Nev. He was an employee of a power firm.
Mr. Pemberton formerly resided in Hamilton and Cameron. He moved to San
Mateo, Calif., about eight months ago.
Survivors include his wife, Mrms. Billie Pemberton of the home; three
sons, Charles Pemberton, Carl Pemberton and Kirk Pemberton of the home; one
daughter, Debbrah Pemberton of the home; his parents, Mrms. Ira L. Pemberton,
Sr., Hamilton; three brothers, Bobby Pemberton, Hamilton, Jack Pemberton,
Grandview, and Billy Pemberton, Independence; three sisters, Mrs. Clarence
Bathgate, Independence, Mrs. William Oswald, Grandview and Mrs. Lloyd Wilson,
St. Joseph.
All of the Pemberton children and families attended the service. Mr.
Pemberton was born at Breckenridge July 26, 1929. His wife was the former
Billy Jo Logue of Cameron.
