- She was living with her daughter on the 1920 census with Kate Sherman family. The Ellis family Bible had her death date as 1894 but a
cousin started looking and ask me how she was in Kate's household on the 1920 census so I started looking for her and found her buried in Center Cemetery as Mrs. M. C. Reese. Her death cert. list parents as John Wagster and ----------Lambert

Martha C. Wagster Reese was born in Bedford Co. Tennessee to John Wagster and Tabitha Lambert Wagster. She is listed in the 1850 Lincoln Co. Tennesee Census with her parents and Brothers William, James, Robert, John and Samuel and sister Eliza, Mary and Panthia. Martha married Wilkinson Wilkern Reese Feb. 7, 1855 in Lincoln County Tennessee. They moved to Williamson Co. Texas sometime between 1870/1880 they appear in the Lincoln Co Tenn census in 1870 and in the Wiliamson Co Census in 1880. To this union was born 11 children these names taken from census records Elvira Reese Sutton, R.J. Reese, James R. Reese, John W. Reese, Martha Ann Reese Ellis, Tabitha Elizabeth Reese Smart, Mary Catherine Reese Sherman, Polina Tennie Reese Adams, Sarah B. Reese, Lilly B. Reese and Wilkerson W. Reese.
