  Her will was written 24 Jul 1846. She mentions her five children: Ira, John, Jacob, Nancy and Broady. She also mentioned Needham SORRELL's daughter: Frances; and Broady's daughter: Penny. For some reason, her son Lemuel and daughter Eleanor were to receive only $1 each of her estate. She also mentioned a daugher: Ann. Witnesses to the will are: Josiah BARBEE and Matthew SORRELL. Ann was allotted 13 acres on the land of Penny Sorrell, her mother (NOT Penny May Sorrell-wife of Addison M. Sorrell) by reference to Book 26, at page 197, Wake Co., NC the division of said lands having been made in 1847. These lands adjoin the land of Mrs. Martha Arnold, Mrs. Floyd Warren, and Billy King. A plat of same of W. G. Clements made 24 May, 1917 is hereto attached and made a part of this petition.
