  Robert and Rebecca's only known child was John Sorrell who had a son named Thomas Sorrell whose will was written January 12, 1725 wherein he bequeathed to his son, James, land in James City County which his father had bequeathed to him. James was living when his father made his will in 1725 but was dead before 1733 when his brother John sold his (James') land, the land James had inherited from his father, Thomas. James now being deceased, therefore John had inherited on Nominy River. John inherited the property of his brother James before 1733, land left to him by his father Thomas in 1725.
