Civil District, H# 2-2, p. 211, William Davis, 33,TN; Nancy, age 21, TN; Katharine, 50, TN (This could be the right William, but no children are listed here that match the names below.) Bedford Co., TN May 1852 County Court Records, Page 469: Alexander RAY guardian of the minor heris of William Davis, deceased. Bedford Co., TN Feb 1853 County Court Records, Page 35: Settlement with Alexander RAY guardian of Barbara and Rhoda DAVIS. I am guessing that these are children of William s/o William and Rhoda. 1854 May, pg 268: Alexander Ray guardian of Rhoda Davis and Barbara Davis, minor heirs of William Davis, deceased. James H. Harrison and Thomas S. Mays, securities.
