  "Herbert graduated in May 1924 at Edgar, Nebraska. They farmed in Nuckolls County for several years then moved to Angus, Nebraska January 1949, where they lived until 1951 when they moved to Nelson. In 1948 Herbert was elected County Commissioner. This office he resigned in 1951 ans was appointed CountyClerk. He served in that office until September 1, 1960 then resigned and moved to Oak, Nebraska and worked in the Scroggins Bank until his death." --The Kinnisons Family History--1969 pg 11
