In 1870 Perry was still in York County,SC. Sometime between 1870 and 1880 he moved to Kings Mountain which is in Cleveland County,NC. He was still here in Cleveland County as late as 1886 because I have a landowner map that shows him on it. Since the 1890 census only remains in parts I lose him till he shows up in Trough Shoals(Pacolet) In Spartan County,SC in the 1900 census. He stayed there till he died. I'm still looking through records in the courthouse trying to find when he left Cleveland County. Unless he left between censuses he pretty well stayed close to here.
