  He was from Much Waltham. I have also seen his birth recorded as 1550. The History of Essex by Rev. Morants in the British Museum reads as if the heir, a nephew John Sorrell HAY left it to the physician, Dr. Tyson. His heir was Richard Tyson. Also from the book The SORRELL family had another estate in this parish, not from from How street called Hill House. Christopher, Robert & John Sorrell held Manor of Rectory of Gt. Waltham for many years in the 17th Century.
