The following is Berry Crane's obituary:
"Fayetteville Observer page 1- column 6- January 15, 1925
CRANE
Berry Crane was buried Monday morning at the Crane graveyard near his home. He was an elder in the C.P. Church at New Unity. He was 67 years old, Funeral services were conducted by Res. W.M Crawford, Sharp, and Marshall. He is survived by his wife and three children, C. L. Crane, of Cleveland, O., Horace and Ed, and Mrs. Donie Wade of this place."
