Notes |
- John B. Woolsey was listed as a "locomotive fireman". He married Eula Montgomery. He was killed in a train accident near San Antonio in 1905 or 1906. His unborn daughter at that time was Johnnie B. Woolsey. I guess her mother just named her that in honor of her deceased father. Eula later married Thomas F. Booker. They were my grandparents. (Deborah Smith Email: cherawgal@netscape.net)
He was killed in a wreck coming out of San Antonio before she was born. The wreck was just south of San Antonio which would be Bexar county not Lavaca county. I have the article in the newspaper.
