  from Lavaca county newspaper, June 1957: Mrs. L. Reese Dies at Nacogdoches Mrs. Louise M. Reese, 86, of Sublime, died in Nacogdoches at the home of her son, W. M. Reese on Sunday, June 9th. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 11th from the Kubena Funeral Home in Hallettsville at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the Geiger Cemetery. The Rev. George Kruger will officiate at the services. The deceased was born in Sublime on May 13, 1871, and was married to J T. Reese on May 29, 1891, at Sublime. Survivors include six sons; Robert of Houston, Flem of Alief, Wm of Nacogdoches, J. H. Reese and I. T. Reese of Sublime, and Perce of Hallettsville; one daughter, Mrs. Selma Linhart of Kenedy; two step grandchildren, twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren. One son and her husband preceded her in death.
