Lincoln County News - July 15, 1937
Linda,
Mrs.Forster at Kelso was my grandfather's (James Franklin Wright) sister
Mary Julia Wright (8 Feb 1857-05 July 1937). She was married to James W.
Foster (29 May 1852-16 Jan 1936) on 16 July 1898 LCT. Her parents were
James Wright and Rebecca Renfro Wright. According to John Foster, James W.
Foster's nephew, Mary Julia was taken to TX after her husband died. Mary
Julia died and is buried in Slaton, TX.
The Charlyne Hellekson who sent me the article from her grandmothers scrap
book found my name on a web site, got hold of me and sent a picture of Mary
Julia's headstone and where she was buried. Up until then John and I only
knew a niece took her to TX. The niece was the Mrs. Thornton in the
article.
