  A Descendant of this line: Lucy McLean: lmclean@satx.rr.com (2002) Died Bedford Co, In 1816, His Wife And Child Were In Lincoln There is a Joseph Ingle, m. Eleanor Perkins, 7 Aug 1795, Fredrick Co, VA. (From Marriage Index, MD, NC, VA 1624-1915 Joseph Ingle is shown in the Lincoln County Commissioners' Court Records as having a widow and orphans in 16 Jan 1816. Also, his brother, Jacob Ingle had the same notation but on a different date. His (Joseph's) daughter, Elizabeth, married Reuben Butler Logan. Reuben Butler Logan purchased the land of Jacob Ingle's widow in 1835, Lincoln Co, TN. It was on that document that we were able to establish the Jacob Ingle children and his widow's given name. I had already concluded that these children belonged to Jacob Ingle. FHLawson The latest: 27 Aug 2000: The 1850 Census of Lcn Co, TN, shows Elizabeth Logan (Elizabeth Ingle Logan), to be, 52 ys old (b.1798 SC), and she was head of household, and the children confirm that this is she who is listed.
