I do know that Eliza's child was born in Lincoln Co. Tenn, and Eliza and Wm . moved to Red River Co. Texas by the fall of 1846, and later Fannin Co.

William C. Morton is mentioned as being in the Confederacy with 5 dependents in Kaufman Co. Texas in 1863. He later moved to Fannin Co. and his wife died in 1879. He married Malinda Wilson three months later and after he passed in 1892, she lived until 1926, and died at the age of 90. She is buried in Whiterock Cemetery as well.
