- Robert F. Reese Dies Dec. 30th
Robert Floyd Reese, 48, of Houston, formerly of Hallettsville, died Tuesday, Dec. 30th, following a heart attack.
Reese is well known in the Hallettsville area, a member of the Reese family that originated at Sublime.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Florence Reese; daughters, Miss Martha Louise Reese, Miss Robbie Nell Reese, all of Houston; sister, Mrs. Otto Linhart of Kenedy; brothers, Henry Reese, Leonard Reese, both of Sublime, J. T. (Perce) Reese of Hallettsville, Flem Reese of Alief, and William Reese of Nacogdoches; seven nieces and nephews.
Chapel services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 1st, at 7820 Park Place Blvd., in Houston, with Rev. Nolan A. Sagebiel officiating. Interment was in Forest Park Cemetery in Houston, with Masonic graveside services.
Fogle-West Mortuaries was in charge of funeral arrangements.
