Ola Belle Cleek, age 76 of Petersburg, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Lincoln County Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born in Fayetteville on January 12, 1939 to the late Lonnie Allison and Katherine Warren Bradford. Ola Belle loved to cook and had her own cookbook published. She loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren, enjoyed watching all the sports her grandchildren and great grandchildren participated in, and watching the Atlanta Braves. She was a member of Hickory Hill Upper Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, Ola Belle is preceded in death by her brother, Lonnie Ray Bradford; sister, Mary Frances Bradford Engle; and daughter, Robin Darlene McKenzie. She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, David C. Cleek of Petersburg; daughter, Debbie (Randy Goose) Baxter of Belvidere; son, Scottie (Marion) Cleek of Petersburg; son-in-law, Troy McKenzie of Lynchburg; special nephew, Anthony (Stacey) Foster of Lynchburg; grandchildren, Lindy (Jason) Tucker, Krissy Delaughter, Marcy (Josh) Thrower, Rebecca Baxter, Lily Foster, and Aiden Simpson; great-grandchildren, Bella Tucker, Brenley Tucker, Nathan Delaughter, Gabriel Delaughter, and Reese Thrower; several nephews; and special friends, Jane Williams, Jean Williams, and Joanne Woodard. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday at Jennings Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Jennings Moore-Cortner Chapel. Interment will follow at Hickory Hill Cemetery.
