3. There is a James RENFROW on the Cumberland Co., NC census with male and
female the right ages for Edith and below children.
Edith came to LCT with her son James F. Renfrow between 1830 & 1840.
4. Edith may have had a daughter Margaret GILBERT b. 7 March 1801, Wake CO.
NC; d. 12 Sept 1880 Lincoln CO., TN; m Pinkney PYLANT 11 Oct 1820 Cumberland CO.
NC.
5. Believe that Edith had a daughter Rebecca RENFROW and son James F. RENFROW
by above James RENFROW. Rebecca m. James WRIGHT in LCT and James F. m.
Esther MOORE in. LCT.
6. There was an Ede SWINDLE as head of household on the 1830 White CO., TN
census, with male and female the right age of James F. and Rebecca.
7. The 1840 Lincoln CO., TN census has James F. RENFROW head of house hold
and a female that could be Edith. Only those two, Rebecca RENFROW was already
married.
8. The 1850 Lincoln CO., TN census has an Edith (no last name) living with
James F. RENFROW and wife Esther MOORE RENFROW.
9. The 1860 Lincoln CO., TN census has Edith Swindle living with James F.
RENFROW and Esther MOORE. Now she has the last name SWINDLE
10. Edith SWINDLE is buried in the PYLANT Cemetery, Lincoln CO., TN.
11. Edith SWINDLE, James F. RENFROW and Esther MOORE RENFROW, James WRIGHT
and Rebecca RENFROW WRIGHT (my great grandparents), Margaret GILBERT PYLANT and
Pinkney PYLANT all belong to the Mt. Hebron Cumberland Church Norris Creek
now Belleville, Lincoln Co., TN.
NOTE: Margaret RENFROW married Pinkney PYLANT IN 1820 Wake Co., NC.,
believe Margaret was a little confused as to what name to use. However on her
application for a pension on Pinkney PYLANT for the War of 1812, Margaret gives her
maiden name as GILBERT.
