  Bivil, with many others of that part of the country started to California during the 1849 Gold Rush. When Missouri was reached, James and Rilla turned back, but their son Bivil stayed, going further into the state. He died in the town of Bolivar in the year 1851. Deed Book H The following data is extracted from McMinn County, Tennessee Land Deeds.Page 40 29 --11 Jul 1843 BEVIL McENTIRE to JOSEPH DIXON; for love and affection; personal property, including cattle which are now at ELI DIXON's Do you by chance have a Bivil McEntire that was married to Maria Elizabeth Wells around 1850? Bivil died around that period and Maria married William Clontz. I am trying to determine who the the parents and children were of William Clontz. Bivil and Elizabeth and William Clontz were in Rodgersville, TN, Hawkins Co. If you can shed any light on William Clontz I will be grateful.
