- Does anyone have proof such as Bible or Land Record that proves Robert Page Sorrels was the son of Hardy Sorrels and Lucy Page? United Daughters of the Confederacy requires more proof than "living nearby in the census." I am not referring to the son of Hardy Sorrels but to the Robert Page Sorrels who married Mary Bowen Porter. I need a document that places R. P. Sorrels with Hardy or his brother, John Sorrels.
