Askew, J.P. per NC marriage fiche. J.J. and Lou are with her parents on the 1860 Madison Co. NC census. In 1850 she and her parents are on the census for Buncombe Co. Madison Co. was formed from Buncombe Co. in 1859.

• Notes

  Only appears on 1870 Cocke Co. TN census with age as 3. I suspect he died before 1880 as he no longer appears. He may have been a twin to Zebulon or perhaps they wrote Abraham instead of Zebulon on the census? Cocke Co. has a cemetery record for "A. Sorrels" no birth date, no death date. Might possibly be Abraham.
