- David Wells Edwards
Funeral services for David Wells Edwards, 81, were 2 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2005 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson with Bro. George Rye officiating. Interment followed in Lecomte Cemetery.
Mr. Edwards, a retired auto mechanic with Graham Ford, died Monday, April 18, 2005 at his home. He was born in Bedford County. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Edwards of Dickson; sons, Michael W. Edwards and his wife, Teresa of Dickson and James A. Edwards of Burns; daughters, Patricia Presgraves and her husband, Ted of Dickson and Elaine Hubbard and her husband, Dennis of Charlotte; brother, Harold R. Edwards of Waverly; 10 grandchildren, Kim Stokes, Todd Stokes, Tina Young, Nicky Byard, Travis Edwards, Cody Hubbard, Dustin Edwards, Teri Keener, Niki Presgraves and Brian Presgraves; seven great-grandchildren, Trinity Byard, Trinity Edwards, Lexi Edwards, Cassidy Keener, McKayla Young, Josh Young and Chrissen Stokes; one nephew; and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Edwards and Wilma Genora Wells Edwards.
