SORRELL-WEED House, Savannah, GA: In the left lower room (formal parlor) in 1844 there was a wedding between one of Francis Sorrel's daughters, and General Mackall. There is a letter refering with many members of the U.S. Army attending, as well as an host of Savannahians. Also: Mackall, Francis Sorrel (1898 - 1939) - male b. 10 Jan 1898 d. 8 May 1939 spouse: Lawrence, Mary Virginia (*1903 - )
He fled massacre during the slave insurrection to Baltimore.
