Our oldest known ancestor is Marcus Ingle who married Nancy (Navey) Eaton in North Carolina.
The 1880 Census shows them in Burke County Icard Township NC. Marcus (28) Nancy M. (36) Julius P. (9) Fansy L.
(6) Mary M (4) John W A (3) and Lilly M (1).
Julius Pinkney is my husband's grandfather. He married Sarah Childers and they had 4 sons: Marcus, John, Robert and Alvin. Julius P., Sarah and all four sons are buried in Burke County North Carolina.
The information on the 1880 Census indicates that both Marcus and Nancy Eaton were born in NC. Am seeking information on Marcus/Nancy's parents, siblings, and descendants. The marriage license of son Julius P. and Sarah Childers in 1895 indicates that both Marcus and Nancy were dead at that time, so they are probably buried in the area. Will share what I have learned.
Thanks,
Betty
