Funeral Services Held Here Monday Afternoon For Mrs. Maggie Freeman --
Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Gotcher Freeman, 67, who died last Saturday night in the Lincoln County Hospital after a long illness, were held at 3:30 Monday afternoon at her home on West Maple Street.
The Rev. E. E. Walkup and the Rev. Richard Walkley officiated and burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Freeman was a lifelong resident of Lincoln Couunty. Her parents were Z. P. and Annie (Meeks) Gotcher.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Marrs and Mrs. Lofton Pitts, Sr., both of Fayetteville; her sisters, Mrs. Lucy Wright and Mrs. Lex Neville, a brother, W. D. Gotcher, all of Fayetteville; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
