  He was tithed with his father on 10 Jun 1694 in Surry Co., Alone in 1698, and with two persons on 10 Jun 1702. On 26 Apr 1731, Timothy THORP, John THORP, and Owen Mirick appraised the estate of James Salmon of Isle of Wight Co. On 26 Aug 1739, he and Owen MIRICK were named to divide the land devised in the will of Edward HARRIS. On 22 Feb 1741, he, J. SIMMONS, and James RIDLEY examined the account of the estate of Zebulon LEWIS. On 8 May 1746, he, John THORPE, and John MYRICK appraised the estate of Thomas JOHNSON; and on July 10th he, Henry ROSE, and James JONES appraised the estate of Gilbert MCKENNY.
