  Birth: Jul. 6, 1872 Death: Sep. 10, 1949 Last Rites at Rule For J. E. Sorrells RULE, Sept. 13. --Funeral was held Sunday at the Primitive Baptist Church of Rule for J. E. Sorrells, 77. Elder H. P. Richards of Anson officiated. Burial was in Rule Cemetery under direction of Gauntt Funeral Home. Mr. Sorrells died early Saturday morning of a heart attack. He was born July 6, 1872, in Alabama. He had been a resident of Rule since 1943. Surviviors are his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Marie Thompson of Rule; and four sons, Earl, Julias, Elvin and Lloyd, all of Knox City.
