Gedion Patterson appeared and claimed two of the horses attached and interpleaded and by Consent of Parties a Jury was Impannelled and Sworn to try the issue Joined between the parties to (to wit) Jordan Devenny, William Shell, Enoch Stringfellow, Peter Tatum, Jesse Person, John Smith, John Foster, George Sorrell, Joseph Duke, John Myrick, James Thompson, Charles Allen sworn well and truly to try the issue between the parties aforesaid Joined upon their oaths do say, that they find the property of two of the horses attached the Defend't James Patterson's; Ordered that Sheriff Sell the horses Attached, and the money arising from the said Sale to remain in his hands till further Ordered by the Court.24
