  My research is from my mother who started in 1920's in Missouri. All research is documented. The following will clear up some of the children, but leave many questions about Jacob. I do not have a document showing county of birth in NC(?)--We do know he came to Missouri with the large German exodus from Lincoln County, NC JACOB JAMES b NC ca 1791 d 3 Feb 1860 in Bollinger Co. MO Mothers notes state that the farm cemetery was called Little Home Cemetery (8 graves) which was located on "county road VV about two miles from junction" This cemetery is not noted in the book on Bollinger Co Cemeteries printed in 1995. The old James Cemetery (about 25 graves with no legible markings is mentioned.) 1st MARRIAGE--Sarah CATHERINE YOUNT b ca 1796 NC died ca 1834-36 Bollinger County Missouri. Buried with field stone on the old James farm in Bollinger Co., MO My mother was in touch with Edith Huggins, author of YOUNT genealogy in NC, who lists a mistake on page 77 which gives Catherines husband as "Jacob Thomas". Catherine was the daughter of JACOB YOUNT and AMARILLIS KILLIAN.) The date of Catherine's death is determined by the last child born ca 1834 and Jacobs remarriage 1837.
