  On 4 Dec 1713, Sarah Sorrell, widow of John Sorrell of Great Baddow, Co., Essex (said John was the youngest brother of Richard Sorrell of Anne Arundel Co., MD). Thomas Sorrell, only son of said John Sorrell, and Thomas' wife, Mary, and Thomas' sister, Sarah, wife of John Gardner, all appointed John Bond of parish of St. Mary Magdalene, Bermondsey, Surrey, mariner, their attorney to receive from said Thomas Robinson and wife Rahcel all land and property due them as heirs at law and next of kin of said Richard Sorrell (Provincial Court Land Records TP#4:364; Maryland Prerogative Court Testimonial Proceedings 22:338; and Maryland Prerogative Court Inventories and Accounts 33B:144)
