(Information from Ginger B. Tharp, granddaughter of Woods and Martha -

"Martha Florence Sorrells (Sorrels), born on 26 June 1881 in Mountain Home,
Baxter Co., Arkansas. Martha Florence died in Tulsa, Tulsa Co., on 14 December
1965. She was 84. Buried on 17 December 1965 in Memorial Park in Tulsa,
Oklahoma. Occupation: Housewife Cause of Death: Coronary
Martha Florence and Miles came to Sparks, Oklahoma abt 1900 and at some
point moved to Shamrock, Oklahoma. In 1915, the farm and all their possessions
were put up to auction. They apparently lost everything. I have an original bill of
sale of this auction (GBT). In 1920 the census shows that she and Milo ran a
hotel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In later years, Florence and Jack Russell
owned and ran the Edgewater Courts in Spavinaw, Oklahoma. Martha lived at
1907 E. First Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma at the time of her sister, Cora's death in
1965. Martha Florence died of Cerebral Thrombosis. According to the 1910
census there were three children, one dead.
On December 18, 18997 when Martha Florence was 16, she first married Woods
Milo Campbell, son of William Gooding Campbell and Pelemia Josephine Richie
(Ricghie) in Crawford Co., Arkansqs. Woods was born on 26 January 1869 in
Chattanooga, Hamilton Co., Tennessee. Woods Milo died in Chandler, Lincoln
Co., Oklahoma at the Valley View Rest Home on 29 November 1962. He was
93. Buried on 1 December 1962 in Sparks, Lincoln Co., Oklahoma. His
occupation was Farmer and proprietor of grocery store at Shamrock, Oklahoma,
1913-1914; managed hotel, Oklahoma City, 1920. In later years was on Old Age
Assistance. This is what the elderly lived on before Social Security. Cause of
death: Coronary, Emphesema and Asthma. Woods and Martha were divorced
in the latter part of the 1920s."
