2. Gladys and Claude separated in the summer of 1930 and later divorced.
Exact date is unknown.
3. Nothing is known about Edna White. It is assumed that they married
sometime after Claude and Gladys divorced. It is not known if Claude and
Edna divorced or if she passed away.
4. About 1949 or 1950, Claude (Uncle Slim) and wife, Augie operated a store
in Sparks, Oklahoma called the "Put and Take" Store. It was in the old bank
building built in 1905. Later they went to Yermo, California where they operated a
service station and cafe. The cafe was called "Rolling Wheels Cafe". They
operated until Claude became ill with a tumor of the lymph gland, which caused
his death in 1961. Augie moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where her daughter from a
previous marriage resided. Augie lived in Las Vegas until her death in 1993.
