  Bill 'Curley' Sorrells Services for Bill "Curley" Sorrells, 83, of Dallas are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Tomlinson Funeral Home Chapel in Seven Points. Burial will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas. Mr. Sorrells died Nov. 24, 2003, in Dallas. He was born Jan. 17, 1920, in Kaufman County to Jim and Sadie Raymond Sorrells. He worked in the automobile impound yard for the city of Dallas for almost 15 years before retiring. He was preceded in death by his daughter; Doris Sorrells, in 1968; and son, William Carrol Sorrells, in 1972. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Maudie Sorrells of Dallas; children, Brenda Followwell Hooten of Kemp, Jean Sorrells of Dallas, Billy Forrester of Gun Barrel City and Toby Sorrels of Seagoville; brothers, Faris Sorrells of Kemp, John Sorrells of Dallas and George Sorrells of Canton; sisters, Mary Harry of Dallas and Madge Andrews of Seagoville; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
