  I think I have located Permillia's family: DeSoto County Louisiana 1860 Census: Elbert Miles B. SC Milla B. SC and the rest of her family My Gr Aunt Gertrude Sorrells b. 1908 daughter of David b. 1880 according to the 1910 census. I think I have located David Sewell in Limestone County on the 1900 census born Oct 1879 which would correspond to the 1880 census D Crockett 8 months. There may have been another child born after David. There are also 2 Sorrells in Kaufman County on the 1910 census(patients in the asylum) that would fit to this Sorrells family. I think I also found female Sorrells on the 1900 census in the penitentary. I will go through my data to relocate this information. I have a picture of my Gertrude if someone might have some pictures to compare. She married a Bice and later a West as located from her SS application and her death record in San Diego Ca. I have FLORENTINE ( FLORENCE ) VALENDA SORELLE BORN IN 1866 IN HARRISON COUNTY. LISTED AS THE DAUGHTER OF JOHN MELTON AND PERMILLA MILES SORELLE. SHE MARRIED JAMES ISUM CLARK. I HAVE PEOPLE TRYING TO FIND THE HEADSTONE IN THE PONTOTOC CEMETERY, BUT THEY SAY ITS SO OVERGROWN WITH WEEDS THEY CANT GET TO PART OF IT. HER MOTHER, PERMILLIA, WAS A SUSPECT IN THE MURDER OF HER 2 BABY BROTHERS ,SAMUEL AND D. CROCKETT SORELLE IN 1882. THE FAMILY IS IN THE 1880 CENSUS OF HARRISON,CO,TEXAS.
