Killed at Church Door.
The Asheville Citizen reports the tragic death of Henry Sorrells at Hazelwood, in Haywood County, on Easter Sunday. He was attending church services, when, it is said, his cousin, Hardy Sorrells, had the usher to call him out, and shot him several times. He died immediately and Hardy Sorrell is being held for murder. It is reported that the two men had had previous trouble, but that no words passed between them on this occasion. The slayer is said to have been drinking at the time of the shooting. Both men were about twenty-five or thirty years old, and neither was married.
