  Paschal C. Sorrels (George Washington, Samuel) was born ca. 1810. In the 1829 Arkansas Sheriff's census Pascal Sorrels is in Clark County along with Washington Sorrels, Samuel J. Sorrels and James Sorrels. All of the above are in Missouri Township except Samuel J. Sorrels who is in Antoine Township. Rebecca Brewer who first married Paschal C. Sorrels in 1830 had one son John Wesley Sorrels before Paschal died in 1836. (She was the sister of William Lewis Brewer and they were the children of Oliver Brewer Sr. and his second wife Mary Henderson who settled in Hempstead, Arkansas). She then married James E. Griffin in 1838, and he died in November 1849, leaving five children: Luvisa E. Griffin, James E. Griffin, Mathilda E. Griffin, Lewis L. Griffin, and Granderson K. Griffin. She then married Andrew B. Orrick in 1850 in Pike County, Arkansas and they had three children : Celia Ann Orrick, William Preston Orrick and Patrick Henry Orrick. Celia Ann Orrick Was born 22 September 1851 in Pike County, Arkansas and died 6 March 1938 at Kirby, Pike County, Arkansas. She married Lovett Abija Barentine on 28 December 1870. Patrick Henry Orrick born 22 August 1856 in Pike County, Arkansas died 29 February 1940 at Madisonville, Texas. He married Lucinda Rebecca Stokes on 24 September 1876. Andrew B. Orrick died 14 February 1860 of pneumonia and Rebecca Orrick married a fourth time to Alexander Barentine, the father of Lovett Abija Barentine on 28 September 1879 in Pike County, Arkansas. She died 1 July 1899 at Kirby, Pike County, Arkansas and is buried in Bear Creek Cemetery at Kirby. I believe the Asa O'Neal your are talking about was the husband of Nancy Sorrels, Paschal's sister.
