All estate equally divided between wife Elizabeth & 5 children. My oldest son Covington, son Francis, dau. Anglina, dau. Nancy & infant son unchristened. Wife & father-in-law Richard Covington executors. (Unchristened son may be Thomas.)
Lewis-of Gladestry and Becon, Wales: (must verify spelling) mentioned as a son of Robert in a James City Co., VA Will in 1682.
Burgess 1684. Edward Searles who resided in Essex Co., VA d 1723 married Eliza daughter of Rice Covington. Issue: Covington Searles, Frances, Angelina, Mary & Edw. (Essex Co., VA Wills. Bk 4, p 100)

Note the name Winefret which may be the source of Henry Beasely of Chatham Co., NC naming dau. Wineford.
Essex Co., VA, Order Book 1716-1723, Parts II, II, and perhaps others have many references to Edward Searles. They indicate close proximity of Searles and Beasleys before they went to NC.

Thomas Searles wife a legatee, name not stated. sons: Coventon Searles "100 acres lying in Wake Co., NC, where he now lives". Henry, 100 acres in Orange joining George Herndon. Ephraim, land in Orange. Francis "100 acres in Orange joining Joseph Clark". Edward Searles. daughters: Winney Searles, Betty Searles, Peggy Cook. Executors: sons Henry and Francis Searles. "son-in-law" Joseph Searles". Witnesses: Dan Green, Bartholomew (X) Stovall, Othniel (X) Farmer."
(Very likely the unchristened son of Edward above is the Thomas, that is listed below.)
Actual Will of Thomas Searles follows:
"In the name of God amen September the thirty day in year one thousand seventeen hundred and ninty three. I Thomas Searles of the County of Orange and State of North Carolina am in good health and proper senses and of perfect memory thanks be to almighty God for the same doth make this my last Will and Testament revoking all other Wills and Testiments by me made what kind so ever first I bequeath my sole to God who gavest hoping to rest pardon of all my sins through merrits of Jesus Christ my Redeemer and my body to be desently buried my Executors here after named. Item my Will and Desire that all my debts and dues that in right consent -- do owe to any person or persons whatsoever shall be well and truly contented and paid within convenants time after my desease by my Executor hereafter named.
Item my Will and desire is that my beloving wife shall have one hundred akers of land where I nough live and the plantation during of her natural life or widowhood and afterward is to be rented out yearly for thye suport of Edward & Winey as long as the both shall live
to my beloving son Coventon Searles one hundred akers of land lying in Wake County where he nough lives and to my beloving sone Henery Serles one hundred akers of land lying in Orange County lying of Gorge Hurndon and to my beloving sun Ephram Sirles one hundred akers of land lying in Orange County lying of Henery & Frances where his clearing is nough
and to my beloved sun frances Sirles one hundred akers of land in Orange County lying Joseph Cook line and to Cover both of his plantations where he is nough posesed of and the remainer part of the land is to be sold for the suport of Edward & Winey if he dont see to it in his life time during of their natural lives by my Executors
and to my beloving sun Ephram Sirles my bed and furniture after my decease and to my beloving sun Edward Sirles his bed and furniture and to my beloving daughter Winey Sirles one bed and furniture and to my beloved daughter Bety Sears one bed and furniture and to my beloving daughter Peggy Cook twenty shillings
and the remainer part of my personal estate to remain in my beloved wifes hands as long as she doth live and then to be equially divided between Edward & Epraim & Bety & Greances & Winey of my Executors.
Lastly I do appoint my beloved sun Henry Serles and beloved sune frances Sirles and my beloved sune in law Joseph Seares and in last will and testament I witness my hand and seal this 30 day of September in year 1773.
