- John Jr. continues to farm on his 750 inheritance in Nassengo (SW of present town of Hallwood), VA until 1697 when he purchased a farm known as Tower Hill, near Lewes, DE and moved there with his wife and family of our boys: William, Thomas, John, and Robert, and on girl Mary. He died there in 1723. In his will he left Towere Hill to his grandson, John (son of William.)
The oldest son, William, was born about 1675, married Elizabeth Burton, widow of Joseph burton, deceased and moved from Lews to Indian River where he had acquired extensive lands.
John Jr.'s seond son, Thomas, was born about 1682, married Comfort Leatherbury (Robert Burton's step-daughter), and also moved to to the Indian River area. Here he died in 1719, leaving one son, Thomas Jr. and a daughter, Elizabeth.
