  Update: The Knox County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate an apparent murder-suicide that left a couple dead in West Knox County. Neighbors heard gunshots and called 911 shortly before 6:30 pm Thursday evening. When deputies arrived, they found a man and woman dead of multiple gunshot wounds. Their names have not been released, because investigators are still notifying family members. More details are expected to be released later on Friday. Previous story A husband and wife were found dead in a Knox County home Thursday evening, according to the Knox County Sheriff's Office. Deputies say they received a call from neighbors around 6:30 p.m. who said they heard gunshots on Bonnie Roach Lane in southwest Knox County. The sheriff's office says the deaths appear to be caused by a murder-suicide.
