He was preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother, Martha Hickey and John Sorrell. Survivors include his son, Bill Sorrell; daughter, Cyndi Sorrell; sister, Ann Verble; three grandchildren, William Chad Sorrell and wife, Kellie of Johnson City; Justin Thomas Sorrell and Kayce Nicole Horton and husband, Darin. Services will be Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Central Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the Old Zion Cemetery, with Bro. Don Burns officiating. Thurman Funeral Home in charge.
