Charlene Cooper, age 80, of Sulligent, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Generations of Vernon. Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm from Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Taylor Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday afternoon from 1-2pm.

Charlene Sorrells Cooper was born January 4, 1933 in Beaverton, AL to the late Howard and Effie Gosa Sorrells. She is the wife of the late Edgar Stanford Cooper. Charlene spent many years of her life as a bus driver for the mental health center. She enjoyed listening to Elvis, making floral arrangements and spending time with her family, which she loved dearly. She was a church member at Taylor Springs Freewill Baptist Church.

Several Great Grandchildren
